Back from Temporary Hibernation so I Can (Totally) Do Stuff

Hi all!

I'm back!

Did you miss me? Did you miss the email pinging into your inbox, did you miss reading my (obviously hilarious) words scrawled out across the screen?

Who am I kidding, of course you did.

Anyway, I got back a few days ago (go and read my holiday posts if you haven't already- link is here) and I am so tired. To be honest though, people keep asking if I am jetlagged, and the real answer is that I am so used to always feeling tired during the day and awake at night that I haven't noticed any difference.

But today I wish to tell you all about the brilliant experience that I had of visiting Parkside Sixth Form College!

Basically, I have decided to do the IB next year (instead of A-Levels) and that leaves two schools in the area: Parkside and Impington. The Open Day for Impington is next week (keep an eye out for that post- or, better yet, subscribe! Please!) but the one for Parkside was today, and let me tell you this: it's really hard to work out if you'll feel happy there when you're cold and trying not to fall asleep as people are talking to you.

Not that they were boring, of course- the Geography teacher we spoke to knew the Geography teachers from my school (including my old form tutor) and everyone was so enthusiastic, but I couldn't really be bothered.

😞

To other news.

Three weeks until Mocks! Yay! Totally looking forward to those...

Also, my sister finally finished editing 'The Forgotten Ones' so I am reaching for the light now. Another thing can be crossed off my to-do list. Which I love doing.

Oh! and also!

NaNoWriMo starts soon (November 1st) so I'm all ready for that (not). Last year I wrote a novel (it's 92000 words now) but due to Mocks/a terrifying flute exam soon, I have decided to do a less ambitious project, and just continue with a project (it's on Wattpad- link to the first chapter is here).

Basically, I have to write about 1500 words a day (to get to 50000 by the end of November). I did it last year, but so long as I finish my story on Wattpad, I'm happy.

If you want to check up on how I'm doing, check the blog for updates and check my Wattpad for new chapters (or subscribe to my blog and follow me on Wattpad...).

And so I leave you with this wonderful image that I feel sums up everything right now:

Bye!
